Safe Return of Batteries: Important Changes to Our Return Procedure

At Foneday, we always strive to deliver not only the best products but also the best service to our customers. An important aspect of that service is complying with the latest regulations and safety standards, especially when it comes to shipping products that could be potentially hazardous, such as batteries. Recently, we have updated our return procedure to comply with IATA regulations (International Air Transport Association), and we would like to inform you about these changes and their importance.

What has changed in the return procedure?

The new rules are in place to improve safety and comply with strict regulations for transporting hazardous goods, such as batteries. The key change is that batteries must now be registered separately for return, apart from other products. This means you can no longer send batteries back together with other items in one shipment. Once the batteries are registered separately, you can return them safely following the carrier's instructions. The return label for the package containing batteries can be easily arranged through the respective carrier.

Additionally, it is important that the boxes used for returning products without batteries do not contain any battery markings. These are the symbols or warnings indicating that batteries are present in the box. If these markings are present, carriers like UPS may block your shipment. Therefore, ensure that your boxes are free of battery markings to avoid delays and issues during transport.
