A successful repair starts with reliable parts. As a repair professional, you want to be confident that every display, battery, or other replacement part performs correctly from the moment it is installed. A defective part not only costs valuable time but can also lead to additional returns, dissatisfied customers, and unnecessary costs. That's why quality control is a continuous priority at Foneday.
Our Quality Improvement Team and Quality Inspection Team work together to ensure that only parts meeting our quality standards reach your repair shop. In this blog, you'll discover how our quality control process works and how these teams help ensure the quality of our phone parts.
Careful Selection of Manufacturers
Quality starts long before a part is manufactured. That's why we only work with manufacturers that meet our quality standards. As one of the larger players in the market, we build long-term partnerships with our manufacturers. This enables us not only to set high quality standards but also to work together on the continuous improvement of our phone parts, tailored to the needs and requirements of the European market.
Before a manufacturer becomes part of our network, we evaluate several factors, including:
- Quality of the parts
- Manufacturing processes
- Consistency across different production batches
- Reliability of deliveries
We share customer feedback, real-world repair experience, and insights from our quality department directly with our manufacturers. This continuous exchange of information helps us keep improving the quality of our phone parts.
Multiple Quality Inspections for Every Batch
No shipment is approved automatically. Every batch of parts undergoes multiple quality inspections before it becomes available to our customers.
Each new batch first undergoes a quality inspection using our testing equipment and software. During this inspection, the parts are tested for various technical properties and performance criteria. Only batches that successfully pass this quality inspection proceed to the next stage of the quality control process. After that, our Quality Inspection Team carries out a comprehensive manual inspection. During this inspection, each part is inspected one by one.
Within our Quality Inspection Team, several specialized teams are each responsible for a specific product group. This specialization gives our quality inspectors in-depth product knowledge and enables them to know exactly what to look for during each inspection.
Our Quality Inspection Team in Shenzhen performs more than 25 different quality inspections, including:
- Functional testing (e.g. performance, functionality, and compatibility)
- Visual inspections (e.g. dust, scratches, damage, and manufacturing defects)
- Build quality inspections (e.g. fit, adhesive bonding, connectors, and overall finish)
- Quality and reliability testing (e.g. durability, batch consistency, and material inspection)
- Verification against our quality standards (e.g. product specifications, tolerances, and final inspections)
- Performance and durability testing (e.g. long-term performance, wear, and stability)
- Packaging and transportation inspections (e.g. protection, labeling, and packaging quality)
- Batch and production inspections (e.g. production consistency, sample testing, and quality documentation)
By inspecting every batch multiple times, we reduce the likelihood of non-conforming parts entering our inventory.
Why Do We Test Every Batch?
Even within the same production process, batches can vary. That's why we inspect every shipment to ensure that each batch meets our quality standards. This helps us maintain consistent quality and prevents quality variations from reaching repair professionals unnoticed.

Continuous Improvement with Our International QIT Team
Our QIT consists of two specialized teams that work closely together:
- Quality Improvement Team (Gilze, the Netherlands) – analyzes product performance, evaluates manufacturers, processes customer feedback, and continuously works on quality and process improvements.
- Quality Inspection Team (Shenzhen, China) – consists of specialized quality teams for each product group and thoroughly inspects every batch before it is approved.
Both teams work together every day to continuously improve the quality of our existing parts. Thanks to this close collaboration, improvements can be implemented quickly, ensuring that our parts continue to meet the quality standards of the European market.
Quality Is a Continuous Process
We don't see quality as a final inspection, but as an ongoing process. That's why we continuously monitor the performance of our parts using quality data, real-world repair experience, and RMA data. Based on these insights, we identify trends, carry out additional quality inspections where needed, and make improvements to our processes or work with our manufacturers to optimize product quality. By working closely with our manufacturers and implementing improvements together, we continuously raise our quality standards.
Thanks to this approach and our specialized quality teams, we are able to maintain a consistently high level of quality across our product range.

Confidence in Every Repair
Our quality control process has one clear goal: to provide repair professionals with reliable parts while ensuring that every end customer receives a device that performs as expected.
By carefully selecting our manufacturers, thoroughly testing every batch, and continuously improving our processes, we:

- Increase the reliability of repairs
- Contribute to a better experience for the end customer
Our confidence in the quality of our parts is reflected in the lifetime warranty we offer on a large portion of the products inspected by our QIT.
Quality You Can Rely On
At Foneday, we believe that quality goes beyond strong specifications or a successful final inspection. It is embedded in every step of the process, from manufacturer selection and batch inspections to continuous improvement.
Thanks to our QIT, we ensure that only parts meeting our high quality standards reach your repair shop. By continuously evaluating quality data, customer feedback, and RMA analyses, we keep improving both the quality of our parts and our internal processes.
